The protest organized by the "Angels on the Road" association began with a scandal. Parents of children killed in road traffic accidents had notified the Sofia Municipality about their protest in front of the National Assembly building, but at the last moment the protest was relocated to the Courthouse, explained the association’s president Petya Ivanova.

The families of children killed in road traffic accidents insist on meeting with the MPs on their first working day, because the laws that can reduce traffic accidents depend on them.
