The Pleven Eye

The tallest Ferris wheel in the country to be erected in Pleven

The tallest Ferris wheel in Bulgaria will rise above Pleven, announced regional governor Nikolay Abrashev. It will be built in a multifunctional complex near the Kaylaka Park.

"The project envisages the construction of a Ferris wheel with a diameter of 46 metres, which will make Pleven more attractive not only for tourists from neighbouring settlements, but also for visitors from all over the country," the regional administration said. For comparison, the London Eye is 120 metres in diameter.

The complex will also include other attractions such as a rehabilitation centre for adults and children, a spa area, a quiet play area, a children's centre, a restaurant, a children's playground and a children's party centre. There will also be car parking, bicycle parking, charging points and a car wash nearby.
