An attack on elections is also an attack on national security. With these words, Vice President Iliana Iotova commented on the questions asked by President Rumen Radev about the fairness of the previous parliamentary elections. "From the very beginning of the election campaign, we have been asking whether the institutions will be satisfied only with catching small distributors of bought votes, or whether it will reach the guarantors and those who try to abuse one of our most important rights, namely our right to choose," said Vice President Iotova and demanded that the political forces represented in the parliament also answer the presidential questions.

The leader of "MRF-New Beginning" Delyan Peevski also stated that he expected a response from the state institutions about the bought votes and demanded an investigation into the reports.
