BADMITON: Stoeva sisters win doubles title in the Netherlands

Stefani Stoeva and Gabriela Stoeva won the women's doubles title at the Badminton International Challenge tournament in Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands. The sisters, ranked fifth at the Paris 2024 Olympics and number one in the main draw, defeated Great Britain's Clhoe Burch and Estelle Van Leeuwen 21-15, 21-18 in 43 minutes in the final. 

Bulgaria now has two medals after Stefani Stoeva won bronze in the singles. The sisters are coached by Bulgaria's most decorated female athlete, Petya Nedelcheva-Khranova. Four other Bulgarian women took part in the tournament - Kaloyana Nalbantova, Hristomira Popovska, Michaela Chepisheva and Tsvetina Popivanova, who reached the quarter-finals.
