Parents who lost their children in car accidents demand stricter punishments for traffic violators

At a meeting with Interior Minister Atanas Ilkov, the representatives of the "Angels on the Road" association, uniting parents of children who lost their lives in road accidents caused by drunk and drugged drivers, have demanded heavier and faster punishments, higher fines and increased control for traffic rules violations on the roads, and regarding systematic violators of the traffic law - doing community service.

From the beginning of the year to October 20, over 5,000 serious road accidents occurred in the country. 362 people died and nearly 7,000 people were injured.
