The government approved an additional BGN 200 million (EUR 102 million) for the budget of the State Fund Agriculture for 2024. The funds are allocated for the disbursement of part of the second tranche of the so-called "Ukrainian aid". BGN 100 million (EUR 51 million) will be paid to support farmers in primary agricultural production - rose farmers, breeders of large and small ruminants, apiarists, vine-growers, fruit, vegetable and tobacco growers. Producers of cereals and oilseeds will receive BGN 100 million (EUR 51 million).
