At the 19th Summit of the Francophonie in Paris, the Bulgarian model of training in French and subsequent successful career on the labor market was highlighted as a very good example in front of representatives of about 80 countries, the press office of the Bulgarian Presidency reported.
Vice President Iliana Iotova introduced the Bulgarian traditions in French-language education at all educational levels and the opportunities for career development thanks to the good link between education and business. She also focused on the active work of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in this respect.
Iliana Iotova was one of the four speakers at the Summit who presented the summarized proposals from the round tables on education, science and careers in French. The general opinion was expressed for a more active participation of young people in the projects offered by the Francophonie, as well as the need for a system of educational exchange within the Francophone space and a closer link between French education and businesses.

"For me, the role of the Francophonie is not only not diminishing, but is becoming more and more relevant and important in today's world full of major transformations that often outpace our readiness to meet them. The format of the Francophonie implies cooperation, frequent meetings, discussions, searching for the right solutions and, most importantly, solidarity and unity for common goals," the press service of the Head of State quoted the Vice President as saying.
