A all-out war in the Middle East would be the worst case scenario, stated by the Caretaker Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov to journalists in the Council of Ministers. He stressed that with the escalation of tension the refugee flows will increase.

"Furthermore, terrorist actions by Islamist organizations in European countries are possible. We must take measures and check the security in our country," Zapryanov was emphatic.

According to him, the state should be ready for the worst scenario. Asked if a full-scale war was possible, the minister answered in the affirmative and stressed that it could happen if the UN Security Council and the major powers do not stop the escalation between Iran and Israel.
