The first ever meeting between American families who have adopted children from Bulgaria took place in Indianapolis. It was organized by the Bulgarians Abroad 681 association, with the assistance of the Bulgarian church St. Stephen and the NGO Nightlight Christian Adoptions, Ralitsa Kolarova, president of the club Damyan Gruev of the Macedonian Patriotic Organization posted on Facebook. News of this meeting has also been posted to the profile of the Bulgarian Consulate General in Chicago, the US.
Everyone watched a video presentation of Bulgaria with interest. The guests learned about and tried Bulgarian yogurt, thanks to the presentation given by Niko Stoychev. Association Bulgarians Abroad 681 delighted the children with Bulgarian treats, and each family received a Bulgarian flag.
