Over 3,200 participants and guests of different ages and nationalities filled the Summer Theater in Burgas for the opening of the 9th edition of the European Gymnastics Festival for people over fifty - Golden Age Gym Festival 2024

The festival will last until September 27 and includes various workshops such as aqua gymnastics, Bulgarian folk dances, games, Tai Chi, bachata, tango, beach tennis, yoga, salsa, acrobatics, rhythmic gymnastics and stretching. The participants will present their performances to an audience on specially built additional stages, every day from 5 pm to 6.30 pm.

The opening began with a colorful procession of all participants to the Sea Casino and to the Pantheon monument. "Enjoy your time in Burgas. Our city will fascinate you with its beautiful nature, cuisine, history and culture, but above all with its good seafaring people, like all Burgas residents are" said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov in his welcome.
