Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 10 September 2024

Temperatures to go down, precipitation expected

On Tuesday, the weather in Bulgaria will be cloudy, in many places in Western and Central Bulgaria with rain showers. Rainfall will be significant in quantity in Western Bulgaria and the Rhodopes. Thunderstorms are also expected. In Eastern Bulgaria, there will be no precipitation and a weak to moderate southeasterly wind will blow. Later in the day, in the western half of the Danube Plain, the wind will shift from the west-northwest, bringing cool air with it. 

Daytime temperatures will drop significantly and in Western Bulgaria highs will be from 19°C-24°C, in the eastern parts - up to 30°C-31°C. On the night of Wednesday, there will be significant precipitation in Central Bulgaria as well.

In the mountains it will be cloudy with rain showers, in places with thunder. Significant quantities are expected. The weather in the massifs in Eastern Bulgaria will be without precipitation and with temporary breaks and reductions in the cloud cover. A moderate to strong wind will blow from the south-southwest. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will be about 16°C, at 2,000 meters - about 10°C.

There will be considerable cloudiness over the Black Sea coast, but no precipitation. There will be temporary reductions in cloudiness in the afternoon hours. A moderate southeasterly wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will range between 25°C-28°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 25°-26°C.
