Horse races and pehlivan fights in Isperih

Jockeys and horses from different Bulgarian regions will compete in horse races near the town of Isperih (Northeastern Bulgaria). There will also be competitions on the old city stadium. Later, there will be a wrestling competition with the participation of more than 150 wrestlers from across the country divided into different age groups. They are to compete for the title "Grand Champion".

"Isperih wrestling has many achievements. Some of the country's most renowned athletes were discovered and developed here", says Deputy Mayor Aksel Kyuchyuk.

The competitions are organized by the Municipality of Isperih.
