Paralympian Ruzhdi Ruzhdi won a second Olympic title in his career. The Bulgarian athlete won a gold medal in the shot put (category F55) at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

The fantastic performance and 12.40 meters achieved in his best attempt put Ruzhdi well ahead of his opponents, none of whom managed to break the 12 meter mark. Thus, our athlete managed to duplicate his title from Rio de Janeiro - 2016. Ruzhdi Ruzhdi also has a silver title from Tokyo 2020, BTA recalls.

Bulgaria's participation in the Paralympic Games in Paris continues on August 31, when Stella Eneva (F57) will attack for the title in the discus throw, and Hristiyan Stoyanov in the 1,500 meter run.
