At an extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly, the members of the caretaker Council of Ministers, appointed by decree of President Rumen Radev, together with Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, took the oath before the people's representatives.

In the presence of the Head of State Rumen Radev and the Vice President Iliana Iotova, the caretaker ministers swore in the name of the Republic of Bulgaria to respect the Constitution and laws of the country and in all their actions to be guided by the interests of the people.

At the ceremony, the anthems of Bulgaria and the European Union were played, after which the session of the National Assembly was closed by the Speaker of the Parliament Raya Nazaryan.

Before that, upon entering the National Assembly, President Rumen Radev warned that the political crisis has not passed. According to the president, this crisis will find a solution when the National Assembly succeeds in forming a permanent majority and it casts an effective regular government. According to the president, that resilience is a function of the legitimacy of that majority, and when voter turnout is low, then the integrity of the elections takes on enormous weight. "That's why I was firm and continue to insist that the fight against the bought vote be made a priority," Radev pointed out.
