"The celebration of Ukraine's Independence Day is an expression of Bulgaria's solidarity with the Ukrainian people's aspiration for freedom, peace and stability," commented the Speaker of the National Assembly Raya Nazaryan. According to her, our country is among the strongest and most active supporters of Ukraine in its just cause to determine its own path to prosperity and development.

The Speaker of the Parliament assured that Bulgaria would continue to support the Ukrainian people in their efforts to defend the freedom, independence and territorial integrity of their country.

In Plovdiv, the Independence Day was celebrated with a peaceful march under the title "With Ukraine in the heart!", organized by the Natalia Ellis Foundation. She, together with women and children who arrived in the city because of the war, opened and maintained the temporary refugee center "Second Home" in the former lung hospital.
