Weather forecast for 22 August

It will be warm and sunny, with clouds and showers in mountains

Thursday will be mostly sunny. In the afternoon there will be clouds and occasional rain, but mainly in the mountains, the Danube plain and the Upper Thracian plain. Lows will be between 16 and 22°C, 17°C in Sofia, and highs - between 31 and 38°C, 32°C in the capital. 
  
Sunny weather is forecast for the Black Sea coast. There will be a pleasant breeze from the southeast. Air temperatures will reach 28-32°C. The sea temperature will be slightly lower at 27-28°C with a calm sea swell of 1-2. 

It will be cloudy over the mountains. In the afternoon, there will be rain and thunderstorms, especially in the western and central parts of the Balkan Mountains and in the Rilo-Rhodope Massif. Maximum temperatures will reach 23°C at 1,200 m and 16°C at 2,000 m.

Friday will be sunny with clouds and rain over the mountains in the afternoon.
