Nick Todorov from Varna has reached the final of the international World Paella Day Cup competition, which will take place in Valencia in September. Nick has secured a well-deserved place in the top 12 of the world's paella masters after beating off competition from over 40 paella masters from 25 countries. He came third in the semi-final, with only Mexico and Colombia ahead of him.

"I have been making this dish for over 25 years. I thought this would be a good chance to put Bulgaria on the world paella map," said Todorov, a passionate cook and organiser of some of the biggest culinary festivals in Bulgaria.
