Weather forecast: The heatwave continues on Saturday

On Saturday morning the weather will be predominantly sunny, with significant cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds forming over Central Bulgaria in the afternoon where there will be brief showers and thunder in some parts, mostly in the mountain regions and the Danubian plain. In Eastern Bulgaria there will be sun throughout the whole day. Maximum temperatures 32-37° C., for Sofia around 34° C.

Over the mountains there will be cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds and after midday there will be brief showers with thunder. There will be a light wind from the East-Northeast in the lower reaches of the mountains, and a light to moderate wind from the North in the higher reaches and the mountain peaks. Maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m. around 28° C., at 2,000 m. around 22° C.

Over the Black Sea coast there will be sun with a moderate wind from the East. Maximum temperatures 28-31° C., temperature of the sea water 26-28° C., sea state 3.
