Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev has signed a decree on the promulgation of amendments to the Pre-School and School Education Act that ban "propaganda of non-traditional sex orientation". This became clear from an announcement from presidential press secretariat.

The following definition is also introduced: "Non-traditional sexual orientation is different from the commonly accepted and established in Bulgarian legal tradition understandings of emotional, romantic, sexual, or sensual attraction between individuals of opposite sexes."
