The winners of the Rhodope Film Fest (RIFE) 2024 receive awards

On July 14, the awards from the 4th Rhodope International Documentary Film Fest (RIFE) 2024 were presented in the town of Smolyan at an official closing ceremony. 

From July 11 to 14, 36 films from the USA, Bulgaria, Serbia, Poland, Tunisia, Portugal, Argentina, Azerbaijan, etc. were presented at the forum. An international jury determined the prizes in the competition categories from the competition selection with 10 short, 6 medium and 10 full-length documentaries.


In the full-length film competition, the award goes to The Klezmer Project (Austria, Argentina) by directors Leandro Koch and Paloma Schachmann. 

The film Searching for Rodakis (Denmark and Turkey) by director Kerem Soyyilmaz was awarded for the best medium-length film. 

In the short film competition, the prize was awarded to Sister of Mine (Poland) by Mariusz Rusinski.
