The Chairman of the GERB-SDS Parliamentary group, Boyko Borissov, sent an official refusal to the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) and confirmed the coalition's position that they will not participate in negotiations to form a government with the second cabinet-forming mandate.

''We appreciate your efforts as the second political force to form a cabinet within the 50th National Assembly, but the differences and opposition between the parliamentary groups do not offer the foundation necessary to form a stable government'', the letter reads. ''We rely on political maturity in the upcoming election campaign as a prerequisite for forming a government in the next National Assembly", Boyko Borissov said.
