The travelling exhibition "Traces of Extinction" features casts of the footprints of endangered species in the Rhodope Mountains. The casts are made of biomaterials that replicate the animals' actual forms and habitats, reports BTA. The exhibition will visit the ancient city of Heraclea Sintica from 10 to 31 July. It will then be on display at the History Museum in Petrich from 1 to 30 August.

The exposition is part of an initiative by a bottled water company to highlight a socially relevant issue such as the threat to habitats, which is leading to the extinction of many species. The exhibition also draws attention to the human footprint and everything we do that affects nature, animal species and their habitats.
