The National Council of the "We Continue the Change" (PP) has approved a policy of consolidation and strengthening of the coalition with "Democratic Bulgaria". A party statement distributed to the media said that at today's meeting, the PP discussed the results of the recent parliamentary elections and the future development of the party. The members of the National Council approved the strategy for the development of the political party "We Continue the Change" for 2024 and 2025, presented by co-leaders Kiril Petkov and Assen Vassilev.

The National Council also approved a course for consolidating the coalition with Democratic Bulgaria and gave a mandate to Nikolay Denkov and the two co-chairs to negotiate an upgrade of the coalition agreement with Democratic Bulgaria.

The PP reiterated its position regarding the 50th National Assembly that it did not see the conditions for the formation of a pro-European, anti-corruption government and that it would remain a constructive opposition.
