“80 hours in the country everyone wants to leave”, this is the title of a video from Bulgaria by the famous YouTubers YesTheory, Dnevnik writes. The authors of the video which, in just three days had more than 1.1 million views, ask themselves why so many Bulgarians want to leave their country.
YesTheory give statistical data showing that it is the poorest country in the EU, and that since 1989 the population has shrunk by almost 30%. Talking to people from all parts of the country, they ascertain that the reason for this is mostly the economic and political instability in the country through the years. The YesTheory YouTubers travel to Sofia, to Buzludzha peak and parts of the Black Sea coast. The video also shows the Rose Festival in Kazanlak, then the nestinari ritual in Bulgaria village. Ultimately, YesTheory describe Bulgaria as a beautiful country with its own history and traditions, a country with nice weather, affordable prices and friendly people.
