Weather forecast for 27 June

Warm weather with showers over western Bulgaria

Over the next day, brief showers with thunderstorms and hail will occur over the western half of the country. The phenomena will be most intense in the north-western regions. while the eastern part of the country will be mostly sunny. Maximum temperatures will range from 27°-28°C in the west to 33°-34°C in the southeast, around 28°C in Sofia.

Cumulus clouds will develop over the mountains in western and central Bulgaria, with heavy cloud cover in the western regions. Short, intermittent heavy showers will be accompanied by thunderstorms. Moderate to strong east-southeast winds will blow, temporarily increasing. The maximum temperature will be around 22°C at 1,200 m and around 16°C at 2,000 m.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be mostly sunny. Maximum temperatures will be 24°-27° and 24°-25° in the sea. The sea swell will be 2 but will increase in the evening.
