Seminar on Bulgarian folk dances in the Israeli town of Bat Yam

A seminar on Bulgarian folk dances will be held today in the town of Bat Yam in Israel (3 Haviva Rayk St.) at 6.30 pm. It will be led by prof. Anton Andonov - Head of the Department of Choreography at the Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts in Bat Yam. He will be a soloist of the Trakia Ensemble. 

The class will include the study of the style, character, forms and dance moves in the different folklore areas of Bulgaria; exploration of the variety of musical scales in folk dances and restoration of emotional state and inner experience through dance. 

The event is organized by Seli Art Salon, with the support of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Israel.
