The first operation by the demining group of ships from Bulgaria, Turkey and Romania in the Black Sea starts on 2 July, announced Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov who is attending the joint live fire exercises Shabla 2024. The first will coincide with the naval exercise Breeze 2024, the second and the third activation of the group will be in September and in November. Admiral Eftimov commented that the exercises at Shabla training ground are part of a bigger NATO exercise – Ramstein Legacy 2024.
