Three days of historical re-enactments on the hills of Tsarevets

From June 7 to 9, the International Festival of Historical Reenactments in Veliko Tarnovo will gather historical reenactment groups and independent participants from Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Serbia at the historical Tsarevets Fortress. 

Visitors will be taken back to the atmosphere of the Middle Ages. They will meet the poetic and musical talent of travelling musicians, learn about everyday life, cuisine, crafts, arts and military skills in Bulgaria, Byzantium and Europe from the 12th-14th centuries. Visitors will also experience the tales and legends of the glorious capital Tarnovgrad.
