927 people in Bulgaria have declared incomes of over 1 million Leva

The highest declared income for last year amounts to 70 million Leva (EUR 35.785 million), indicate National Revenue Agency data after the end of the tax accounting period in this country and the announcement of the incomes of natural persons. The money comes from the sale of shares, investment bonds and other financial assets.

927 is the number of Bulgarians who have declared an income of over 1 million Leva (EUR 511,215), However their professions are considered personal data which can be used to identify them, and are therefore confidential. 1,228 people have declared incomes of over half a million Leva, 4,710 – between 250,000 and 5,000 Leva and 20,247 people – over 100,000 Leva.

More than 3,600 Bulgarian citizens own real estate abroad.
