The Golden Linden Film Festival in Stara Zagora presents 50 films from 18 countries

The 11th edition of the International Film Festival of New European Cinema "The Golden Linden" will be held in Stara Zagora from 1 to 5 June. 50 films from 18 countries will be screened, including films by directors Nuri Bilge Ceylan, Roman Polanski and Francois Ozon, reports BNR's Hristo Botev Channel.

The aim of the "Golden Linden" festival is to promote European cinema in Bulgaria by showing the latest and most interesting films from different European countries each year. The shortlisted films will be judged by an international jury.
A special guest at the festival will be actress Eli Skorcheva, who returned to the big screen with her brilliant performance as Blaga in Stefan Komandarev's film "Blaga's Lessons".
