Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 26 May 2024

Sunshine, occasional showers on Sunday

The weather on Sunday will be sunny. In the afternoon there will be cumulus clouds over the western half of the country, but it will remain almost rainless. Winds from the east-northeast will temporarily strengthen. 

Maximum temperatures will be between 20°C and 25°C, in Sofia - around 21°C.

It will be mostly sunny over the mountains, with clouds in the afternoon. In some places in the western half of the country it will rain. Moderate to strong winds will blow from the east-northeast. The maximum temperature at 1,200 m will be about 16°C, at 2,000 m - about 10°C.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be sunny. Moderate northeast wind will blow. Maximum temperatures will be between 21°C and 23°C, and the temperature of the sea water at 17°-19°C. 

Cloudy weather with rain showers will prevail over the western parts of the Balkans - more significant in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Over the rest of the peninsula it will be mostly sunny, but in the afternoon some central areas will develop cumulus clouds and rain and thundershowers are possible. It will be 28°C in Bucharest, 26°C in Belgrade, 25°C in Athens and 23°C in Istanbul.
