Charter flights from Mexico to Sofia will run every two weeks until the end of November 2024, bgtourism.bg reports. A few days ago, a plane of a Bulgarian airline carrying 320 Mexican tourists landed at Sofia airport.

It turns out that this is the first ever charter flight from Mexico to the Balkans.

It is expected that nearly 5,000 guests from Mexico will visit Bulgaria through the trips organized by Bulgarian and Mexican tour operators. The tourists will see the sights of Bulgaria and the neighbouring Balkan countries. They will travel by buses, many of which are owned by Bulgarian carriers.

The program includes 4 different series of tours. The most popular and desirable route lasts 12 days and includes Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia, Albania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, with the last stop being Bulgaria again.
