The Bulgarian National Television (BNT), the Bulgarian National Radio (BNR) and the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) announced a joint initiative "14 centuries of Bulgaria in Europe" for the 1350th anniversary of the establishment of the First Bulgarian State that will be marked in 2031. The initiative is an opportunity to talk about Bulgaria's contribution to Europe. According to the agreement, each of the three media will hold its own initiatives in addition to the joint ones, said BTA Director General Kiril Valchev.

BNR has a variety of channels through which it communicates with its audience. In addition to programs and segments on national airwaves, BNR will also participate in the "14 Centuries of Bulgaria in Europe" initiative through its music ensembles, added BNR Director General Milen Mitev.
