Weather forecast for 21 May

Warmth and sunshine before a new round of rainy days

On Tuesday, minimum temperatures in the country will be between 11 and 16°C, 12°C in Sofia. During the day it will be sunny. In the afternoon, clouds will move in from the west and it will rain briefly, especially in the mountains. Maximum temperatures will be between 22 and 28°C, near the sea and lower, 23°C in the capital.

Along the Black Sea coast, the weather will be mostly sunny. Air temperatures will be 18-21°C. The temperature of the sea water will be 16-17°C.  The sea swell will be 2-3. 

Sunny weather is expected over the mountains before noon. In the afternoon it will be cloudy and rainy in places. Temperatures will reach 18°C at 1,200 m and 11°C at 2,000 m.

On Wednesday and Thursday, clouds will cover the whole country and there will be short showers and thunderstorms in many places. It will be warm, but with significant precipitation in places.
