Yuliana Yaneva wins second Olympic quota for women’s wrestling

Yuliana Yaneva won the 4th Olympic quota for Bulgarian wrestling and the second for women’s wrestling. At the tournament in Istanbul she won against Davaanasan Enkh Amar, Mongolia in the 76 kg. qualification match.

The other Bulgarian wrestler – Mimi Hristova – lost the 68 kg. semifinal to Feng Zhou, China. However, if she wins in the repechages she still stands a chance of taking part in the tournament in Paris.

So far, Olympic quotas have been won by Bilyana Dudova (62 kg.), Yuliana Yaneva (76 kg.), Aik Mnatsakanian (77 kg.) and Semen Novikov (87 kg.)
