"The people of Bulgaria will always remember the heroism of Bulgarian generals, officers, sergeants and soldiers", caretaker Premier Dimitar Glavchev wrote on Facebook on the occasion of the Day of Bravery and the Bulgarian Armed Forces Day. ''Bulgaria has had, has and will have great soldiers. Our army remembers glorious battles'', Premier Glavchev wrote.

The co-chairman of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Delyan Peevski, congratulated the Bulgarian soldiers, men and women who have dedicated their lives to defending the Motherland. "In times of wars and numerous challenges, unity and togetherness, in the name of common security and the preservation of people's lives and health, are our greatest strength.Gergyovden (St. George’s Day), Hidirellez, Hidrellez, Ederlezi is celebrated by all ethnicities and religions as a symbol of the renewal of nature and fertility", Delyan Peevski said.
