Ceremonial water blessing of the battle colours to be held in Sofia on the Day of Valour

On the Day of Bravery and the Bulgarian Armed Forces Day - May 6, President and Supreme Commander Rumen Radev will take part in the ceremonial water blessing of the battle colours and standards of the Bulgarian Army at St Alexander Nevski Square in Sofia. The President will receive the guard of honour of the representative units of the Armed Forces and lay a wreath at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier. The ceremonial march of the representative units of the Armed Forces will then take place. 

The changing of the guard will then take place in front of the President's Office, with the participation of a student guard.

The ceremony will be attended by the caretaker Minister of War Atanas Zapryanov, the Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov, senior officers of the Bulgarian Armed Forces, representatives of the state leadership, the diplomatic corps and military-patriotic associations.
