Wings for Life World Run aims to help people with spinal cord injuries

The Wings for Life World Run is a global event that will take place simultaneously around the world on 5 May. It will start at 14.00 Bulgarian time. All proceeds from entry fees will be donated to medical research with the aim of making spinal cord injuries fully treatable.

Wings for Life World Run has no strict rules - people run at their chosen pace and cover the distance they are prepared for.

Now in its eleventh year, on May 5, 2024 Wings for Life World Run participants in Bulgaria can also run together in Sofia. The track starts at the popular area in Borisova Garden known as Sloncheto. After 1.8 km of asphalt park paths, the route continues on dirt/gravel surface for another 1.2 km. Till the end of the loop, there is another 1.8 km of wide asphalt path. The route is also suitable for participants in wheelchairs.
