The book "The Sboryanovo Enigma” by Dragomir Bogomilov will be presented this evening at 7:00 pm in the "Sofia" gallery of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in London.
More than 2,000 years ago, today's Sboryanovo reserve was the center of the mystical rituals of the Getae. The ancient Thracians erected over 100 mounds here, recreating celestial constellations and reflecting the desire for harmony between the Earth and the Universe and the immortality of the soul. The author, Dragomir Bogomilov, is a photographer and journalist who takes part in archaeological research in the reserve. A part of the filmed finds have been published by the National Geographic and Le Figaro.
