Weather forecast for 20 April

Rain in the east, temperatures back to early spring levels

On Saturday, minimum temperatures in the country will be between 2 and 7°C, in some valleys in the south-east 0°C, in Sofia 2°C. During the day there will be cloudy weather with heavy precipitation in the eastern areas. In the western part of the country there will be patchy clouds until midday, after which the clouds will thicken and there will be showers in the mountains. Maximum temperatures will be between 13 and 18°C, 14°C in the capital.

Along the Black Sea coast it will be cloudy and rainy. Air temperatures will be 12-13°C. Sea temperatures will be 11-12°C. The sea swell will be 2-3.

Mountains will be cloudy. There will be rain in many places and snow above 1,700 metres. The Rhodopes, Strandzha and Sakar will see considerable precipitation. Temperatures will reach 4°C at 1,200 m and 0°C at 2,000 m.

Sunday will remain cloudy and cold, with rain in the afternoon.
