The European Border and Coast Guard Agency "Frontex" significantly increased its contingent in Bulgaria during the staff rotation. This happened a month after Frontex’s Executive Director Hans Leijtens visited the country. The total number of "Frontex" officers along the Bulgarian-Turkish border will triple compared to the end of 2023, announced the Ministry of Interior.
