The European Green Deal has already been delayed and will depend on how many seats the Greens win in the European elections, who will be the Commissioner for Agriculture, etc, said Snezhana Blagoeva, Minister Plenipotentiary at Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria to the EU, reported BTA. She attended the Tenth National Meeting of Farmers, organized by the Bulgarian Association of Agricultural Producers

According to Snezhana Blagoeva, Ursula von der Leyen became Commissioner precisely because of the Green Deal, betting that serious goals would be achieved and economic development within the community would become somewhat detached from the planet's resources. Pesticide regulation also remains a European priority, Snezhana Blagoeva said.
