Kiril Despodov was voted Bulgaria’s Footballer of the Year for the fourth time in his career. Despodov won the vote with 317 points. During the past season, he scored 19 goals and made 22 assists, playing a key role in winning the Bulgarian Cup and the 12th consecutive title for Ludogorets. In September, he was transferred to the Greek football club PAOK for EUR 3.5 million. He quickly became a key player for his new team, which is just two points behind the leader AEK.
