If the European Parliament elections were held this week, the coalition GERB-SDS would earn 22.9% of the votes, followed by We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria with 19.7%, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms with 12.1%, Vazrazhdane with 11.7% and the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) with 8.4%, indicate data of a survey by "Market LINKS", commissioned by bTV. The poll was conducted among 1,058 adults between February 27 and March 3 through face-to-face interviews and online survey.

According to sociologist Dobromir Zhivkov, the European elections rather mirror the seat distribution in the National Assembly and the parties that are not represented in Parliament stand no real chance of having MEPs", said Dobromir Zhivkov.

The support for three political parties, We Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria, Vazrazhdane and BSP, has increased.

As for the possible rotation in the government, the majority of people are not particularly positive about this process. ''The reason is the constantly erupting contradictions in the ruling coalition, creating the feeling that elections could be called at any moment," the sociologist said for bTV.
