Weather forecast for 8 March

Cloudy and rainy for the next few days

Clouds will remain overnight, with rain showers in places, but they will be weaker now. After midnight and in the morning hours, rain may temporarily change to snow in some places, especially in the western and central Pre-Balkan. Light to moderate north-easterly winds will blow. Lows will be between 0° and 5°C, around 2°C in Sofia.

On Friday, before noon, the precipitation will stop in the lower parts. Clouds will be significant over most of the country, but will begin to clear from the west in the afternoon. Light to moderate north-easterly winds will blow, dying down in the evening. Maximum temperatures will be between 5°C and 10°C, around 7°C in Sofia.

Along the Black Sea coast there will be considerable cloudiness with occasional showers. There will be moderate north-easterly winds. Maximum temperatures will be 7°-8°C, close to seawater temperature. The sea swell will be 3. 

In the mountains it will be cloudy with some snow showers and rain below 1000 m. In the evening the precipitation will stop in most areas. Moderate winds will blow from the north-northwest. The maximum temperature will be around 3°C at 1,200 m and around minus 3°C at 2,000 m.
