We will not send troops to Ukraine and this issue is not under discussion. Our cabinet has provided aid to Ukraine in the amount of 47 million euros, Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev has told bTV.

There will be more aid and it will be greater than the previous package, the minister said. Tagarev represented Bulgaria at the European conference on Ukraine in the Elysée Palace. "There are countries that are ready to discuss the proposal of French President Macron, but it is not about sending soldiers to the front, but about specific tasks," Tagarev explained and reiterated that Bulgaria will not send people. Asked about the commitments Bulgaria made at the meeting in the Elysée Palace, Tagarev recalled that Sofia expressed its intention to be included in the support of the Ukrainian defense industry.
