The amendments envisage a hearing by the Citizenship Council for the person for whom naturalization withdrawal is proposed. Bulgarian citizenship certificates shall be awarded at an official ceremony at the Ministry of Justice or Bulgaria’s diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad.
