PM Denkov meets with representatives of the US Congress at Munich Security Conference

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov discussed with representatives of the US Congress the importance of the strategic dialogue between Bulgaria and the United States at a meeting within the Munich Security Conference, the Council of Ministers announced on its Facebook page.

The Bulgarian Prime Minister spoke with Honorary Speaker and former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi,  Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries and House Foreign Affairs Committee member Gregory Meeks. He highlighted the excellent relations between the two countries and the potential for their development not only on a bilateral level, but as allies in NATO.

Nikolay Denkov also met with the Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.
