Potato growers, who do not support the decision by agrarian producers to put an end to the roadblocks, organized a protest at the village of Sadovo, on the road to Ilinden-Exochi border checkpoint with Greece.

They say they do not want to take part in “fixed matches”, do not support the agreement with the government and will not give up on their demands. The potato growers were joined by stockbreeders and fruit growers. The tractor roadblock on the road leading to Greece lasted two hours.

The National Potato Growers Association are demanding that the talks with the cabinet continue on Monday, as well as an active position by Bulgaria in Brussels for a revision of the green deal. The roadblocks will continue next week – joint protests are planned with Greek producers at Kulata-Promachonas border checkpoint.
