Bulgaria condemns Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and provides support to Kyiv in all dimensions – political, financial, military and humanitarian, the President of the Bulgarian National Assembly Rosen Zhelyazkov told the Verkhovna Rada yesterday. He added that Bulgaria will support Ukraine as much as necessary, recalling the decisions for supply of armored transport equipment and ammunition for automatic arms, as well as for the training of Ukrainian military paramedics in the country.
We are also seriously discussing the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine, Rosen Zhelyazkov said. According to him, 80 Bulgarian companies with proven capabilities in the repair and construction of nuclear and thermal power plants, high voltage networks and gas infrastructure are ready to participate in the repair of damage caused by Russia's military aggression, as well as in increasing the infrastructure connectivity of Ukraine with the EU.
